Software built and shipped in focused sprints.
CodeBuildLab is a software studio based in Mioveni, Romania. We design, build, and ship web apps, mobile apps, and integrations for teams who'd rather see working code every week than a status report.

What we build
Six things we get hired for again and again — reframed to your stack, not a boilerplate list.
Custom Web Applications
We design and build web applications from scratch — dashboards, internal tools, client portals — matched to how your team actually works, not a generic template.
See pricingMobile App Development
Native-feel iOS and Android apps built with a shared codebase where it makes sense, and native where performance actually matters.
See pricingAPI Design & Integration
Clean, documented REST or GraphQL APIs, plus integrations with the payment processors, CRMs, and third-party services your product depends on.
See pricingE-Commerce Platforms
Storefronts built for speed and checkout conversion, whether that means a headless build or a well-tuned platform implementation.
See pricingLegacy System Modernization
We untangle old codebases piece by piece — safely, with tests, so the business keeps running while the foundation gets rebuilt underneath it.
See pricingDevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure set up so shipping code stops being the scary part.

Additional services
Smaller, standalone jobs you can order individually — no sprint required.
From first call to shipped code
Four steps, no surprises in between.
Discovery call
We talk through the problem, the stack, and what "shipped" means for this project. Usually 20-30 minutes.
Technical scoping
We turn the brief into a written spec with milestones you can actually track — no vague "it depends" estimates.
Build sprints
We build in short, visible sprints — you see progress every few days, not once at the very end.
QA & handover
Automated tests, a walkthrough call, and documentation, so your team isn't locked out of its own code.
7-day satisfaction guarantee
Not happy with what we delivered? Tell us within 7 days and we'll make it right — see the full terms in our Refund Policy.
CodeBuildLab vs. a typical freelance setup
A quick, honest comparison — no named competitors, just the usual alternative.
With CodeBuildLab
- Fixed-scope sprint pricing, agreed before we start
- Direct access to the engineer writing your code
- Automated tests shipped with every feature
- You own the repository and all the code, day one
- Documentation included, not billed as an extra
- Free retest / revision round on every package
Without
- Hourly billing with the scope creeping quietly
- Requests routed through an account manager
- Tests added later, if there's budget left
- Code ownership buried in a vague contract clause
- Documentation promised, then perpetually "next sprint"
- Revisions negotiated case by case
Before you ask
The questions we get on almost every first call.
Mostly TypeScript/React/Node on the web, Swift and Kotlin for native mobile, and standard cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). If your stack is different, tell us on the discovery call.
Sprints are fixed at €150, €300, or €400, and smaller one-off jobs are priced individually — see the full breakdown on our Services page.
Every package includes at least one free revision round, and Build/Ship sprints include automated test coverage so changes stay safe going forward.
Yes, entirely, from day one — the repository is yours, and we don't hold anything back as leverage.
Repo or design access if one exists, a short discovery call, and someone on your side who can answer questions during the sprint.
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee — read the full terms in our Refund Policy.
Dacia builds cars a few kilometers from our office. We build software.
Flavius started CodeBuildLab in Mioveni after years of watching software projects die in scope-creep and vague hourly quotes. The fix was simple: fixed sprints, visible progress, and code the client owns outright from day one.
What began as one engineer taking on small web builds for local businesses has grown into a small studio working with clients well outside Romania — while staying small enough that you still talk directly to the person writing your code.
We don't chase headcount. We'd rather stay a team senior developers actually want to be part of, and clients can actually reach.
Who you'll actually work with
No account managers standing between you and the person writing your code.
Flavius Georgian Necula
“I still write code on every project we take on.”
Diana Radu
“If it's not tested, it's not done.”
Sergiu Matei
“Deployment day should be boring. That's the goal.”
What it's actually like to work with us
“CodeBuildLab shipped our MVP in three sprints flat, and the code was clean enough that our in-house team picked it up without complaints.”
“First agency that actually wrote tests without us having to ask twice.”
“Fixed sprint pricing meant our finance team stopped asking me questions I couldn't answer.”
“We handed off a genuinely messy legacy system and got back something we could finally build on.”
